Chef Robert Burcenski's other artistic interest is pottery, specifically porcelain vessels and art pieces. Many of the unique plates and vessels used at Tallgrass are Robert’s work. Using his own formulae for glazes, each piece is hand thrown and Robert supervises the firing of each piece. Chef Bob is a busy fellow.
